Package deal comprises the one each of the 25mm(1") and 50mm(2") Microplane Rotary Shaper and the Axminster General Duty Flexible Shaft.
Microplane Rotary Shaper
Enjoy shaping with precision and control on wood, plastic, plasterboard, rubber and more instead of coarse sandpaper. Hundreds of razor sharp mini teeth in the form of a drum, for use with a power drill. Microplane blades are made from 400 series stainless steel and have been fitted to an aluminium extrusion which is provided with a 8mm shank. The beauty of this method of shaping is the resulting waste, which is tiny shavings rather than dust, and the superior finish left by a tool that cuts rather than scrapes, tears or abrades, creating clouds of dust. Recommended to run at between 1,000-2,000rpm and not exceed 2,500rpm. The Rotary Shapers rotate clockwise. Materials being fed into the shaper should be fed left of centre to reduce kickback. Supplied in two sizes 25mm(1") and 50mm(2"), with replacement blades available separately for both.
Axminster General Duty Flexible Shaft
One of the most useful attachments one can have for a drill and one which needs to be used with the Universal drill clamp so that the drill can be safely left running. The flexible shaft is an extension of the drill chuck and is great for polishing, de-rusting, sanding, carving and many other uses. The Axminster flexible shaft has a 10mm capacity keyed chuck attached to one end and is 1.3m long with a high quality drive and very durable outer casing. The spigot that should be attached to the chuck of the drill is 6mm in diameter.
