These Concrete Frame Screws are increasingly popular for fixing window and door frames. They are through fixing, which eliminates the need for marking and re-positioning when fixing frames or battens to masonry.
The high-low thread provides excellent holding power in wood due to the alternating high and low thread heights. All these fixings require is the drilling of a 6mm hole. They are easy to ‘wind-in’ using a Torx T30 bit. The Torx head virtually eliminates the possibility of cam-out when driving the screw home. The screw’s zinc yellow passivated electroplating offers greatly increased resistance to corrosion.
Available in two lengths, the minimum hole depth into the base material is 45mm in both cases. The 92mm long screw offers a maximum fixing thickness of 55mm, the 132mm screw 90mm.
