In Detail

The Free-Way saw is a quality tool, made and designed with attention to detail. The frame puts the correct amount of tension on the blade and the clamps will take standard coping saw blades. The spiral blades fitted in this coping saw work in the same way as a standard coping saw. However, the spiral-tooth saw blade allows you to make cuts in any direction without turning the saw. The case hardened saw blades are highly resistant to breakage and wear. Each saw comes with two spiral blades. Diamond coated blades are available for cutting ceramics and other hard materials. The maximum cutting depth is 130 mm and the blade diameter 1 mm.

Depth of Throat 130 mm

This is a neat little saw. It's cuts really well and I love the way you can cut any direction with the spiral blades. You can also add normal blades if you prefer.

The only thing that lets it down for me is the cheap feeling plastic handle which is also a little small to hold. It does un screw completely so I am planning turning my own one.
