Definitely square!

Ironically I have just left a review of the definitely awful Axminster precision square, having waited for delivery 5 months. In the mean time I ordered one of these and it is exactly the opposite. Accurate all angles, perpendicular, nicely finished, nice to look at, no sharp edges, easy to use and well worth the money. Contrary to Chippies review, I can't see any manufacturing origin so maybe this has been changed, hence the different reviews.

Great Hand Tool

This is a great little piece of kit for just putting away in the nail bag until needed. small and compact and does the job perfectly. Accuracy is spot on, I love it!

The design of this square is good, compact and it has 45 degree and 90 degree sides. I was using it mainly for marking mild steel when marking cuts but it came slightly off square on the 90 degree side, I checked it against two engineers squares I have. Also when I sat the square on its flat base it was leaning off to one side, not impressed with the inaccuracy, even the Japanese can be out on accuracy. The other thing that annoyed me was to see that this Japanese square was made in China, is anything not made in China these days ??

very good quality tool.

this is a tool I bought on a whim and have never put it down since I got it. it is very well made and very accurate. the 45 degree angle is also very handy.

Top tool.
