In Detail

Lightweight with tough hornbeam heads with galvanised steel bars, these have the fastest action of all. Used by violin makers where many clamps are needed but total weight would be a problem. The cork faced jaws can exert a considerable amount of pressure without marking the work.

a bit expensive

These are good but theyre not woth £10 each
With just a bandsaw (or a coping saw) drill
and some sandpaper you could make ten of these
In a morning. most wood will do and the metal bar isnt
Really necessary since these are only for light clamping
Any workshop has scrap timber in the skip p.s my next
Run will be of this better design

Does the job

Not as much clamping power as per the other review, but otherwise a well made clamp for specialist use that should last a long time.

Green eggs and ham

Try them and you'll love them. Very light, easy and quick, they are ideal for fragile work of soft timber, just don't expect the clamping power of a steel F clamp.
