In Detail

This fine bench plane comes fitted with a 50° (York pitch frog). The additional 5° in the blade’s approach angle, greatly improves the performance and resulting surface when planing timbers with difficult or wild grain. The 5 1/2 handles exceptionally well; its mass and higher pitch frog help it even more when working hard woods with wilder grain patterns. The A2 cryogenically treated 60mm (2.3/8") blade keeps a fine edge for longer in these situations. The plane comes with all the usual high quality features of a classic Lie-Nielsen plane.

Length 375mm (14.3/4"), weight 3.18kg (7lbs).
