Well TestedBought mine over a year ago now. Have found this tool to be very good. Yes, fine dust (plaster/ filler ) does clog the filter but a quick clean and your up and running again.

Useful but limited.I bought this at a lower price and base this review on what I paid (£33). This is basically a dust buster type thing that was popular some years ago. A simple concept that works but has its limitations. It has a reasonable level of suction that will reduce quickly if sucking up fine dust, larger particles are fine as the filter doesn't become clogged. I find myself emptying it and cleaning the filter quite often but is so simple it's no real bother.

Works well given it's an 18v Vacuum cleanerVery useful for picking up small amounts of dirt & dust. Needs emptying often but given it's size it works well.

pantsi dont know how makita can put their name to this. its not too bad with the head bit on it if u only want to pick up where uve dropped some sugar or something but other than that its rubbish. the filter does nothing it fills the room and the battery with dust. i got so fed up of emptying it that last week i just threw it across the road and left it there. its only got one star because thats the lowest u can give it

Makita vacumnPretty useful vacumn cleaner. Dont know what the other reviewer has wrong with his vacumn. Like all dustbuster vacumns it does loose power as the bag gets full, but the large capacity of this device means this does not happen for a good while. Overall the suction is perfectly adequate for the tasks I have used it for, eg sawdust dust in living room, crumbs etc. Great advantage over other portable vacumns in that the run time is quite long and if you have a spare battery can be extended quickly with a battery change. A cyclone based makita vacumn would get five stars from me, but this is still a very useful product that allows one to keep a work area clear without the bother of fetching the hoover and plugging it in.
