The Makita TM3010CK is a versatile oscillating multi-tool with the advantage of tool-less accessory change. Installing or changing an accessory is fast and efficient. The lever-lock system clamps in seconds. The OIS interface means you can position accessories in any one of 12 (30°) positions to gain better access to your work. The soft start helps for a more precise cut. The variable speed control offers 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute, covering jobs from tough cutting to fine sanding. With the wide choice of accessories you can sand, flush cut, rasp and saw wood, metal, plastic and more. The ergonomic barrel grip makes the multi-tool comfortable to use even for extended periods.

A quality toolI have only just received this tool so am unable to comment on its cutting and sanding ability but I am assuming it does these things efficiently. Out of the box this feels like a powerful, high quality piece of kit which comes with a three year guarantee from Makita. One quibble, the carry case has not been designed to store any blades or other accessories, it does have a rather strange detachable mini case which does not begin to hold things like sanding backing pads, larger blades etc and looks like a design afterthought.
