In a typical woodworking workshop almost all types of dust deposit are known to be potentially hazardous to health. The HSE strongly recommend that wood dusts are never swept, brushed or removed by an air gun, but should be vacuumed by using a machine that meets at least M Class classification. Numatic International have recognised this and as a result developed the HZ 750-2 H-Type machine built to IEC 60335-2.69 which sets the standard when cleaning up potentially hazardous dusts. This machine boasts a filtration level of 99.997% at 0.5 micron thanks to the fitted HEPA H13 filtration module. Power is provided by a 1,200W "Twinflo" motor giving you the suction to make a real difference when cleaning. The vacuum has 3-stage filtration ensuring that what's cleaned up, stays cleaned up! The machine can be sealed for secure hazardous waste transportation. Each vacuum comes complete with a full accessory kit ideally suited for workshop cleaning applications. The whole machine is made from epoxy coated steel for durability, and is equipped with a large wheeled trolley which makes it easy to move around on site. An industrial quality vacuum that is ready for action with performance to match are just two reasons that make this ‘the right choice’ for woodworking workshops, schools and colleges, not to mention maintenance operatives and design workshops.

Pleasant SupriseAfter posting the above review, I have since heard from Axminster and Numatic. Numatic have been every bit as helpful as Axminster and have contacted me to solve this problem. The level of customer service is excellent and it sounds as if my HZ750-2 will soon be working as well as I have come to expect from Numatic over the years.

A little disappointing for the moneyThis vacuum is terrible for static electricity, and considering it is an H class vacuum removing a full bag inevitably results in the bag splitting and dust going everywhere. The design really needs improving especially regarding the static.
