Amazing quality burrs

I purchased these burrs recently from Axminster and have been putting them through a thorough test on beech and pine. I must say I'm impressed, I have used many different burrs over the years, including carbide, steel, diamond and grinding bits. Only Typhoon burrs come close to matching these Saburr burrs. They carve wood quickly but give you full control, they do not chatter or slip off line. If you've never used this type of burr before and you like power carving you will find these burrs indispensable.
I have also used Typhoon burrs from Foredom and I can say these are every bit as good if not better and their cheaper.
I must just mention the price. You might think they're expensive, but when you factor in that they will probably last for years, I think they are reasonably priced.

These burrs are outsstanding

I purchased four of these burrs from Axminsters Basingstoke branch last week to use with my Foredom power carver. These burrs remove a lot of wood, but in a very controlled way. They do not chatter or burn the wood like standard carbide burrs, they cut and slice through the wood the same way a Liogier wood rasp does.
At first they may seem expensive, but when you factor in how long they will last, i think they are good value for money. However i have since noticed they are cheaper at Toolpost. (Come on Axminster get those prices down :)
So if your looking for a burr that removes a lot of wood in a controlled manner and will last for years, look no further.
