Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month we have the mesmerising Anna-Marie Bennett, of Surrey Association of Woodturners, in-store from 16:00-18.30. Anna-Marie will cover a variety of projects including jewellery making and woodworking in miniature - such as items for a dolls house. She will offer advice on techniques, wood selection, finishes and any other woodturning questions you have. Although her work is intricate and small, Ann Marie leaves a big impression.

The router, whether used freehand or in a table, is a very versatile tool. If you are looking to purchase your first router or wanting to make more use of your existing machine then come along to store and chat with Tom Stokes. During the demonstration, Tom will go through the routers various functions and applications, as well what accessories and cutters are available to you and how to care and maintain them.
Building upon last weeks introduction to the UJK router tables James Peer will be demonstrating some more advanced techniques using jigs and templates. The demonstration will cover guide bushes, bearing guided cutters and the accessories you'll find invaluable. James will also cover the principles of basic jig making and the use of a simple store made flattening sled - really the only limit is your imagination!

Our in-store demonstrator James will be demonstrating the various features and benefits of UJK Technology Dovetail Jig, The Jig can be used to cut half blind dovetails (for drawer construction), precise comb or finger joints (in up to 28mm thick material) and can cut through dovetails (in material up to 19mm). Come to the store and experience how simple this jig is to use whilst still producing professional looking joints every time.
Chris Fisher, also known as the Blind Woodturner since he lost his sight in 2008, will be in-store covering lathes, chucks, jaws and turning tools.
