Free Children's Woodworking Session
With Christmas fast approaching, this may be the last chance young creatives have to make their own Christmas decorations. This year, our popular 'Beat the Boredom' workshops will show Santa's elves how to make a Christmas Tree mobile, using a few basic tools and materials. During the session, our store supervisors will guide budding crafters through each step to make a bespoke decoration to take home. This will include simple saw cuts, drilling holes and using a scroll saw to make the components, before decorating with pyrography and assembling with garden twine. We'll suggest some special paints to add any finishing touches at home.
Please book early to avoid disappointment as only limited spaces are available. The free event is open to children between ages 7-14 who must be accompanied by a parent for the duration of the workshop. Parents may also be required to provide some practical assistance, so there must be one adult accompanying a maximum of two participating children.
