In Detail

Titebond Cold Press for Veneer is a high-quality, economical alternative to contact cement for large-scale bonding of veneers to flat surfaces. It is specifically formulated for cold press laminating of wood to solid woods, particleboard, MDF, plywood and other porous materials. It offers a moderate speed of set, and contains none of the harmful or corrosive fumes typical of most contact cements. It also helps prevents bleed-through on open grained and unbacked wood veneers.

Absolutely fantastic no bleed at all, very good bond,I had the equivalent of 4 full sheets of MDF to cover so I assessed the quantity required as being emulsion paint and after covering 42 panels every one was perfect allowing 2 hours in my home made press

Good stuff

Works well, good open time, and little or no bleed through of adhesive.

Will now use this glue for all flat veneering

I had tried to glue ripple sycamore veneer to a gentle curved moulding and because it was a curve I initially used West System for strength, even carefully applied the bleed through was unacceptable.

I then tried this glue, Titebond Cold Press for Veneer, it is faultless on veneer, there was no bleed through at all and has formed a good bond even on a gentle curve.

The smaller bottle has a well designed dispenser cap to it
