The Trend T11EK router is the highest spec router that Trend produce and has many features for use freehand or when mounted in a router table. One main advantage is being able to adjust the cutter height with the fine adjuster from above as well as below the router's base, making adjustment in a table a lot easier. The 2,000W motor has soft start with full wave electronic variable control for constant speed under load for a fine finish on all types of material. The 80mm plunging accuracy is assured with two column precision and phosphor bronze bushes and the maximum cutter diameter is 70mm through the base for the fitting of larger cutters. Other features include spindle lock for easy cutter change, fine adjuster and 3 position revolving depth stop, a quick release dust spout that takes 35mm hose and side fence with micro adjuster. Fitting for optional Trend clamp guide system is included (bracket required) and quick release recesses to fit a quick release kit for quick fitting in Trend tables. Both clamp guide kit and quick release kits are optional.
Supplied complete with fine adjuster, 30mm guide bush, dust spout, side fence with micro adjuster and storage case.

Great piece of kit but unreliable.I have three half inch routers, Ryobi 2050w which is a great work horse for general use, Festool 2200 which was expensive but only used on precision stuff like Corrian or exotic hardwoods (extraction on festool superb) and lastly the Trend T11 which again is a great all-rounder apart from it doesn't like being used in the trend table for long periods as I recently discovered.

Built to lastI bought this router back in 2009 from Axminster and it's still running perfectly. I use it both in a router table and by hand, mostly routing maple and mahogany. The height adjustment from the base plate is perfect for in a router table, the engine is very powerful and it's built like a rock. I accidentally dropped it a couple of times and it's still perfectly fine. If this would break I would buy another one without blinking for one second.

Great to useI bought this to permanently fasten to my router table. The feature I liked was the height adjustment from the base plate. It works really well and allows very fine movement. I'm really happy with the router

Great piece of kitRecently swapped to one of these after a nightmare experience with the festool of1400. I have absolutely no regrets - imho this is a much more ergonomically sound device and even the dust collection seems to work better.all round a very good and well thought out design
