In Detail

With cross-over straps to place the weight of the apron on your shoulders instead of your neck, this lightweight and durable apron is made from 100% cotton canvas. At 863mm(34") long and 710mm(28") wide, the bib provides ample front and side coverage. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust with low-profile, unobtrusive clips, and the adjustable waistband has a quick-release buckle. A pocket on the chest has compartments for pencils, pads, small rules, etc. Below it there are two 200 x 200mm(8") pockets with a top flap that keeps sawdust and wood chips out, plus two larger 355mm(14") x 200mm(8") side-opening pockets to hold small tools or just provide a comfortable resting place for hands. The wide openings on these pockets permit easy access and the rounded inside corners won’t trap small objects. The waist loops situated on either side of the pockets will hold a hammer, a tape measure or any tool with a belt clip.

Made in Canada.

One for life

The only reason you would buy a second of this apron would be to have a spare for when it's in the wash. Hard-wearing canvas and sewn so nothing gets snagged. A bit costly but should easily last me out. Put it on and forget it, though with only one arm, it is a bit of a fiddle to clip the straps. I guess there aren't enough of us to justify a one-handed model.

Very very good

I've been using this make of apron for the last couple of years, and I've been so impressed that I've just ordered three more of these. As Darren Bingham pointed out in his review, a good apron IS hard to find. The cross over pattern of the straps is an absolute must have to work comfortably all day long. I refurbish and draught-proof traditional sash windows and restore them to better to their former glory, which means I live my working life covered from head to foot in debris and dust climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding. These aprons are IMHO absolutely the best way to work. They're super comfortable, have plentiful pockets for screws wedges pegs tools pens rags and phones, and the massive side pockets are an absolute revelation. The buckles and straps are more than adequate, but I would prefer them to be a little more substantial, in keeping with the quality of the apron material itself. As an aside ---the aprons set you apart from the crowd.

A very helpful tool

It's hard to find a good apron. This one is very comfortable unlike one that hangs on your neck. I wear this for 8/9 hours a day.
Pockets are very handy and the flap on the main one stops debris.
Only downsides are the adjusters on the straps. The plastic 'clamps' do come undone easily if you are climbing about and routing around jobs like I have to. However, if you just normally work in a workshop this won't be a problem.
