Use it together with laser printouts glued or transferred to the workpiece for incredible precision

Dead centred punches

Accurate, on the mark, drilling has been a challenge, inreasing with the size of the bit, and with more than one tilting door, window and handle as the result of imprecise screw positioning. The problem is that the shaft of an auger or forstner bit covers the exact position of the snail or centre tip of the bit.
This prodcut allows for very exact positioning and punch marking. A haircross at the end of the included loupe is positioned over the spot of interest. Then the loupe is repalced by the punch, tapping on which results in a very precisely located punch mark.

Veritas Optical Centre Punch

A splendid and extremely useful tool, not to be lent even to your best friend since you would be very unlikely to get it back! No workshop working with metal should be without one.
