In Detail

Another handy gadget for mounting tools in the vertical position, and particularly useful for long handled garden tools like brooms, hoes and rakes. The holders work on the cam principle and have a small piece of abrasive material fixed to the cam to stop the tool sliding down. Operation is one-handed, just push the tool into the clip with an upward motion and gravity does the rest. Max capacity 32mm(1.1/4").

easy to fit - holds 7kg. works a treat.

i bought a bunch of these and im getting some more to tidy up my long handled garden tools. They fit with 2 screws (supplied) and will apparently hold up to 7kg. i have a pole axe and a sledge hammer hanging without any problem. i would recommend not mounting directly on the wall, but first putting a 2" thick wooden batten onthe wall with decent fixings (its going to hand the combined weight of all the tools). then screw these hangers on the wood. this allows you to position them more easily, and brings them further away from the wall, allowing tools with big heads like axes, forks and rakes to hang vertically - otherwise the cam grip wont work properly.
